COVID-19 – Updates – November 3rd 2020

The Chaudière-Appalaches region is still in Level 4 (red) until November 23rd and the Massif du Sud regional park would like to inform you of new measures put in place, which aim to respect public health instructions and protect visitors as well as our employees.

Reception and access rights: On Saturdays and Sundays, the maximum number of visitors is set at 800 (not counting access to residents of the four municipalities adjacent to the park, season tickets and promotional tickets). You must obtain the online access rights and present proof of purchase (confirmation email, screenshot, etc.) to employees outside the reception desk. If you had to go through the reception, only one person per group will be allowed inside.

Mask, hand disinfection, physical distancing: The mask is mandatory everywhere inside our buildings. Hand disinfection is mandatory at the entrance to each of our buildings. Please respect a physical distance of 2 meters at all times.

Toilets: The basement of the reception desk and that of the Desjardins pavilion will be open so that you can use the toilets. The maximum number of people allowed inside is 6. We kindly ask you to adhere to this standard. Dry toilets can also be used on our trail network. Due to the cold, we are no longer able to provide soap and water for hand washing outside. It is therefore the responsibility of visitors to provide disinfectant if they are attending accommodation. There will be disinfectant on sale at the entrance kiosk, in travel size.

Accommodation / camping: The maximum number of people allowed per accommodation is 6, and all these people must be part of the same group (single address).

Showers: The showers in the reception station and the Desjardins pavilion will be open to visitors who frequent our accommodations / campsites.

Equipment rental: Some equipment rental (eg: fat bike, trekking poles, crampons) will be allowed.

Trails: We strongly recommend that you download Ondago in order to find your way around our outdoor network. We consider it your responsibility to respect physical distance on the trail. An employee will offer directions at the entrance to the network.

Boutique: If you would like to use our store, we ask that you pay by credit or debit card, and avoid cash.

Plan your visit / stay: We suggest that you respect the Rando Québec code of conduct.

Thank you for your collaboration and be vigilant,

The Massif du Sud regional park team
