Prospector tent

Massif du Sud regional park offers a wide selection of lodging option and the prospector tent adds to it. This vast tent is equipped with a wood stove (wood included) and furnished with a table and chairs/benches and a sleeping area with 4 double bunk beds without mattresses. A dry toilet and a water access are located nearby and regular toilets and showers are located at the visitor center and the Desjardins Pavilion. The prospector tent is available only during the summer period, from May to October.

Location

Located on the Beaudoin trail (E), by the Bassin area, the prospector tent is accessible by car. The parking lot located nearby (75 meters) is exclusively for the prospector tent and the campers in the Bassin area.

*Prospector tent #2 is not accessible to people with physical limitations, due to a long staircase (about 20 steps). 

Late arrivals

If you arrive after hours, use the door at the back of the reception area. In the grey box on your right as you enter, you will be able to retrieve the envelope with your name on it containing all the information and elements necessary for your stay.
