Grouse, sparrowhawk, owl, woodpecker, tit, nuthatch, creeper, sparrow, wren, flycatcher, thrush, blackbird, vireo, warbler, bunting, finch, junco…More than a hundred species of birds call Massif du Sud regional park home, such as the Bicknell’s thrush, a rare species.  The coniferous forests of our summits also shelter some unusual species to the south areas of the St Lawrence river.  Grab your binocular to discover the diversity of their plumage and songs!
